Early Childhood Testing for a Strong Start

Our early childhood assessments provide valuable insight into your young child’s cognitive, language, and early academic development.

We offer high-quality, comprehensive assessments for early childhood conducted by a licensed and certified school psychologist. Our early childhood testing is designed to assess your child’s cognitive and academic readiness, providing you with valuable insights into their development. It measures general intellectual ability, early academic skills, and expressive language skills in young children (ages 2 ½ to 7 years old) from preschool through first grade.

Why Choose Early Childhood Testing

Early intervention can make a significant difference in a child’s learning journey. Here are some compelling reasons why you might want to consider administering these tests:

  1. Determine cognitive strengths and weaknesses
  2. Identify the presence of cognitive delays
  3. Recognize challenges early, which allows for timely interventions
  4. Inform Educational Decisions – Whether you’re considering different schooling options or need to advocate for your child’s needs, our assessments equip you with the information you need to make informed decisions.

What To Expect from Our Testing

You’ll receive a clear and detailed report of your child’s performance, along with recommendations for support and development. After the comprehensive testing, a feedback session is scheduled with the parents (either in-person or by video conference). The conference will discuss the assessment results as well as review the comprehensive written report detailing test findings and a treatment recommendation plan.

Most feedback sessions are scheduled within two weeks of data collection. It is important to us at ETS to get you the information you need as soon as possible.
